Being coached is listening to your own inner knowing to find your
personal solutions to empower you for a better future. Coaching sets
itself aside from therapy, counseling and consulting by empowering YOU
the client. You already have the answer, you just need to allow it to
come to the surface. That is where coaching becomes a very effective
tool. You become accountable to your coach with your actions and that
is the power making things happen. It plays out in the here and now and
is geared to and for your future. You create an alliance with your
coach and or your small group, that is tailored to you.
Choose Life Coaching with Horses or Equine Assisted Coaching to empower yourself and become the master of your own destiny!
Coaching with horses acts as a tool to bring up what you already know. Your equine partner in this process becomes your mirror, since he is always reacting to how you show up for him in your coaching session. A horse is always honest and non-judgemental, because thats how they are wired. Being the prey animal, horses are supersensitive and aware at all times and will use that sensitivity in an Equine assisted coaching session to allow you see how you are with him, how you "show up", knowing that this is how you also show up in other areas of your life. This accountability makes it easier to stay on your path and to learn quickly what you truely portray to others.
The horse reacts to how you approach him and also reacts to how you feel. Clay Wright in his article, the Horse as a Mirror says it so well.
"You can probably relate to those feelings and thoughts because chances are you too have felt these same feelings and had these same thoughts many times throughout your own life. If you can think back to why you had these thoughts and feelings—what were the circumstances when you had them? How were people approaching you at these times? How did you feel people were treating you, or what did you feel people were expecting from you, etc.? If you do this, you will begin to relate and understand what the horse is mirroring to you."
